Overview
A top 60 law firm with excellent rankings on the Legal 500 and Chambers are seeking a Pensions Lawyer for their Reading office. You will join a team ranked in band 1 in Chambers and Partners in the Legal 500 for the South East. The team predominantly advise trustees as well as employers on all aspects of Pensions law including group reorganisations and mergers, scheme design and benefit changes, scheme closure, liability reduction exercises, and general Pensions & Finance Acts matters. The role will majority of the works is non contentious although you will be involved in some contentious matter like professional negligence claims, rectification applications and disputes between trustees and sponsoring employers.
