Semi-Senior Accountant with Audit

Our client is a full-service, rapidly expanding firm with 3 Partners and clients with turnovers of up to £150 million and a friendly, professional working atmosphere. Based in a charming part of Essex, they are a SME that prides themselves on offering a full range of services to their portfolio of clients across varied industries. They are rapidly expanding and need to add people to their team, and you will come on board as one of their senior members to be part of a thriving practice. The role is full time, permanent position. Your tasks will include: Preparing engagement letters, working with Managers to prepare engagement from start to finish On-site audits with client, sometimes managing junior staff Reviewing for errors and presenting to Managers Setting up materiality according to financial statements, allocating increases or decreases according to agreement with client Communicating representation letters to Management Preparing and Reviewing Management Accounts Preparing Year End Statutory Accounts Some client advisory Some corporation tax (ad hoc) About you: ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified Accounts and Audit Semi-Senior Good communication skills both verbal and written Competitive benefits package Because our client has a portfolio of clients who expect the best level of service, they need to attract the best people for their Accounts and Audit Semi-Senior.
