Health Care Support Worker Wakefield, West Yorkshire opportunities also in Barnsley, Wakefield, Dewsbury, Huddersfield and Halifax) REF: DW1466 LOCATION: Wakefield, West Yorkshire – opportunities also in Barnsley, Wakefield, Dewsbury, Huddersfield and Halifax SALARY & BENEFITS: £18,005 per annum (Average pay £22,500 up to £24,500 including unsocial hours, bank etc.) WORKING HOURS: Full Time 37.5 hours per week – will require flexibility with hours and involve days, weekends and nights on a shared rota basis THE COMPANY: If you are caring, compassionate and enthusiastic and would like to be part of our care teams on wards supporting patients with mental health, learning disability and physical health conditions, we are looking for people with a strong values base from a broad range of backgrounds and experience. We are currently looking for new Health Care Support Workers in the Barnsley, Wakefield, Dewsbury, Huddersfield and Halifax areas. As a Health Care Support Worker we can offer you a competitive starting salary, 27 days leave (plus bank holidays), access to a career pathway and training and development opportunities. We will support you through a level 2 health and social care qualification while you work. To apply for the Health Care Support Worker role it’s essential that you’re at least 18 and have a good standard of education in Maths and English, equivalent to a level 1 (GCSE D to G) or above and be able to provide your certificates. Previous experience is not essential as full training is provided, but it is essential that candidates are naturally caring and compassionate individuals who are committed to helping others. Candidates will also need to be able to adopt a flexible approach to hours as will be required to work a range of days, evenings, nights and weekends on a shared rota basis, and candidates will need to live in or be able to work within either Barnsley, Wakefield, Dewsbury, Huddersfield or the Halifax area.
