Air Freight Coordinator
Overview
Do you have previous shipping or logistics administration experience? Or perhaps have worked in an office and keen to start a career in freight? If you have a can-do attitude & have the enthusiasm to learn, this could be the perfect opportunity for you to start a career in logistics. The Role: This is an excellent opportunity for someone who either has had some exposure within freight, shipping or logistics and looking to make their next career move or someone who is keen to enter the industry and has perhaps worked in an office environment and has good admin / customer service skills. You'll be part of a busy & friendly team, arranging air freight shipments worldwide, compiling shipping documentation, ensuring Customs procedures are adhered to, making bookings with airlines and updating customers on the progress of their shipments. Full training can be provided. You'll be given every opportunity and all the support you'll need to gain more experience and to grow your career with this well-respected company, who specialise in moving goods worldwide. Essential Criteria: Previous logistics and/or admin experience Import & Export | Logistics Co-ordinator | Freight Forwarding About the Company: Our client is a well established, local freight forwarder who specialise in air, sea & road freight, plus international courier. They have a great working environment, modern offices & a friendly team. Salary & Benefits: For this position, our client is looking to pay between £16-19K depending on experience for the right person. Free on site parking and other benefits on offer.
