The successful Purchasing Manager will be responsible for setting up and implementing the following core responsibilities but not limited to: Leading a purchasing team to sustain £20m turnover Communicating internally and externally Strategic selection of new suppliers Maintenance of existing suppliers including following up trading agreements and regular face to face visits with buyers Create regular reporting structure Setting up secondary suppliers Structuring the purchasing team for growth Absence back-up and cross training Carry out fair negotiation on all product lines, based on trends To be considered for this position, you must have previous experience and knowledge of purchasing and supply chain functions.
