Technical Services Manager - Mechanical Background - Multi Site South West London/ Surrey £55-62k Car One of my top clients are looking for a strong Technical Services Manager to look after 13 large sites. The Technical Services Manager will be leading the engineering team to make sure the site has no downtime on these critical sites. The Technical Services Manager will be joining a large company where there are lots of opportunities for progression. Job purpose of the Technical Services Manager To ensure the planning and allocation of technical maintenance resources are balanced within their team. The Technical Services Manager will maintain the Planned Maintenance Programme for their areas of responsibility and deliver an excellent reactive service to the property portfolio ensuring no financial penalties are imposed. The TSM will manage unplanned lifecycle applications, SLA report completion amongst many other managerial tasks. To ensure that the site meets statutory compliance regulations for the services under their control. Responsibilities for the Technical Services Manager Planning and allocation of resources on site including the control and issue of materials and equipment Maintaining the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and Statutory Compliance Programme for the services under their control Manage, coordinate and issue all PPM’s to their Maintenance Teams and achieve the agreed SLA’s Collating completed PPM worksheets and reviewing for any additional works identified therein Updating Asset Registers when equipment is replaced as part of Life Cycle or Small Works Programme for the site Training and support of operatives and guidance in using correct methods and procedures including Health and Safety requirements and welfare of staff Liaise with Site Security where required in advance of planned visits and comply with their instructions, maintaining key and site security Participate in the Health and Safety Policy of the company and report to the General Manager regarding any dangers; hazards or other defects/issues that may be encountered Ensure that the Company Dress Code is adhered to at all times and that all uniforms and Personal Protective Equipment are issued on staff commencement, maintained at all times, and collected at the end of staff employment Undertake other tasks or requests to maintain and improve the service provision throughout the site Maintaining ongoing service performance through service and performance reviews including the undertaking of performance reviews / appraisals Responsible for managing budgets relating to their services and reporting Carrying out regular reporting (at the request of the General Manager) in relation to SLA compliance, problem areas etc, recording actions taken or to be taken and any escalations Assisting in the recruitment of team members as and when required Assist Maintenance Teams in any daily issues in delivery of the maintenance service Authorisation and reporting of annual leave and organisation of appropriate staff cover Ensure the “SharePoint” system is maintained and accurate Be aware of the business continuity plan for the part of the business you work in Any other reasonable Management request Person Proven track record in successful people management including performance management and familiarity with operational HR process and procedure Valid formal Health & Safety qualification e.g. IOSH (1 or 5day) / NEBOSH Detailed operational understanding of facilities maintenance and building services within a client focused environment Experience in the Mechanical engineering, aspects of general building PPM schedules Experience with similar maintenance duties including fault diagnosis, rectification Building Management Systems experience Mechanical qualification BTEC & HNC or similar Build Recruitment Limited acts as an Employment Business for the supply of temporary workers and an Employment Agency in relation to permanent vacancies.
