Overview

Supply Chain Analytics Lead - Blue Chip Organisation £70k-£80k per annum - Reading The Role We are seeking an experienced data analytics lead with knowledge of supply chain - ideally gained within a global enterprise organisation. You will be required to create & develop BI capabilities while providing support to functional stakeholders whilst implementing analytical projects to supports better decision making. You will own E2E Supply Chain & Manufacturing BI delivery to the business using the data repository for production, transportation & warehousing activities to identify new opportunities to apply insights and analytics. The Organisation With Operations across 40 countries in Europe, over 10,000 employees, 152 production facilities and over £2bn revenue, this global blue chip firm are a digital e-commerce enterprise looking to continue their huge digital transformation. Key responsibilities; Own the development, implementation and standardization of business analytics and KPIs within the Insight and Analytics function for Supply Chain & Manufacturing Lead workshops, requirement gathering, and creation of business requirements documentation. Lead the prioritisation of analytics (that will answer key business questions) with stakeholders (in both central functions and within the regions) Work closely with those senior stakeholders to present findings back on a regular basis, preparing relevant written analysis and making effective use of data visualisation to “tell the story” Track industry trends to enable proactive consulting on opportunities with the business team Skills required; 5 Years’ experience in data analytics role ideally within Supply Chain. Background in data modelling, data management and advanced analytics using relevant software (e.g. SQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Dataiku, Knime, Alteryx, ETL etc.) Proven use of high-end models, such as Arima forecasting, multiple linear regression, dimension reduction, random forest modelling (including boosting), support vector machines, K Means, Expectation maximization, collaborative filtering etc. Demonstrable success in delivering actionable insight that drives revenue, improved churn, margin improvement, increased basket size etc. Knowledge of Supply Chain.
