We have won awards for our achievements and want our reputation and success to continue for many more years to come. We are looking for Tanker Driver Operatives to join us at our Camberley Depot. What will the job involve? Drive and operate specialist Tankers, once training has been provided (Class 2, CPC required) Collection and disposal of controlled waste at registered waste reception sites Attend emergency call out situations (as and when required) Working on private and public land in strict accordance with statutory health, safety and environmental procedures Undertake vehicle checks at the start and finish of each shift Ensure that all jobs are documented correctly Report all defects, accidents and near misses immediately to Line Manager Maintain the driver’s log book in compliance with MOT rules and procedures Ensure that the conditions of all PPE (personal protective clothing and equipment) remain fit for purpose Keep the vehicle and equipment washed down on a weekly basis, free from rubbish in hose and tool boxes and the cab Being flexible in your approach to work and undertake ad-hoc duties when your vehicle is off the road or if you are required to assist other field teams Attend training as and when required What do we need from you? 50 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 Must be motivated and prepared to work overtime when overtime is available Flexible with working hours (we can be very reactive at times and teams are expected to assist as much as they can) Must have the ability to take on responsibility of working within very controlled guidelines and environmental regulations Minimum Class 2 licence holder with CPC Must be able to commit to unsociable working hours including various weekends in line with our emergency call out (when required) Previous experience working within the drainage industry (desired but not essential as full training can be provided) Trustworthy Reliable What will you get from us?
