Night Shift Quality Inspector Job ref: 62607 | £20,500 | Home Counties / East Anglia The company We are seeking a talented individual to join an innovative, high quality manufacturer which supplies to various retailers throughout the UK. You will join a friendly and supportive team with a fantastic, fun working atmosphere. The job As Night Shift Quality Inspector, you will be a key part of a talented and dedicated food QA team where you will be responsible for monitoring quality and hygiene standards in the factory, escalating any issues or non-conformances as required. You will carry out internal checks, ensure hygiene standards are maintained, carry out swabbing, monitor CCP’s, record temperatures, work closely with production staff to maintain and improve quality standards, check product labels, help prepare for external audits (i.e. BRC), and complete daily reports/handovers to the Quality Manager. Your experience We are looking for a passionate and driven individual who has previous QA/QC experience from within the food manufacturing industry and/or be educated to an HND/degree level in food science, food technology or related discipline. You will possess high attention to detail, be a strong communicator and be IT literate. Additional qualifications such as Food Hygiene, Food Safety, HACCP etc. are all beneficial. More details The Night Shift Quality Inspector job is based in Home Counties / East Anglia region and is paying £20,500 plus attendance bonus for every shift worked (after probation period). The working hours are Monday to Friday, 10pm – 7am. You may will also be required to work up to 15 Saturday/Sunday shifts per year.
