Job Title: Multi-skilled Fitter Reporting to: Operations Manager Location: Greater Manchester Job Type: Full Time Salary: £26,000 - £32,000 (Flexible) Perpetual Engineering are currently working in partnership with a progressive industry leader in the design, build and installation of advanced waste to energy systems with their UK headquarters based near Manchester. The business is part of a well-respected US based corporation which employs 10,000 people across 25 countries globally. The UK division of the business is a recent acquisition, and after being awarded a number of large projects the group are now looking to invest in recruiting ambitious and driven individuals into the business to help them grow. Despite considerable growth and corporate ownership the business has maintained its culture and family-run feel. Duo to their growth a great new position has arisen for a Multi-skilled Machine Fitter. The Role: This is a great opportunity for an ambitious and hands-on individual with a passion for continuous improvements the hunger to progress within an expanding team. Knowledge of wiring and installing control panels is fundamental, and an appreciation for HMI’s and PLC’s within industrial environments is an ideal fit. Mechanical experience is desire, with the role centred on the shop floor for the machine build/wiring process. Nb. Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK to apply for this position.
