MANUFACTURING EXPEDITOR £22,000 - £24,000 - 25 Days holiday 8 BH, Free onsite parking, Early finish on a Friday, Comprehensive training package. Job Title: Manufacturing Expeditor Location: Redditch Duration: Permanent Hours: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (9:15am - 5:15pm) Friday (9:15am - 1:30pm) This is an exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Expeditor to join a long standing established manufacturing company based in Redditch. The successful Manufacturing Expeditor will have experience of working within a fast paced manufacturing environment. You will play a key role in supporting the manufacturing functions across all streams of the business. The Manufacturing Expeditor will have sound planning skills and be computer literate. The Manufacturing Expeditor will be: Using SAP to track production orders and ensure parts from various departments come together for the required dispatch date Coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments Review and distribute production work schedules and move requirements. Conferring with department supervisors to determine progress of work and completion dates Revise production schedules when required due to design changes, labour or material shortages, backlogs, or other interruptions, Develop and communicate weekly and daily manufacturing schedules The ideal Manufacturing Expeditor will have/be: All round computer skills which must include knowledge of SAP Flexible proactive approach to Work Ability to multi-task and work effectively against a deadline Good at juggling tasks and prioritising Methodical and thorough approach to work Courteous and professional A great team player Experience in manufacturing For immediate consideration for the role of Manufacturing Expeditor please do click apply.
