Overview
My client, based near Thame, are looking to recruit a new temporary to permanent Despatch Operative to join their small team. As Despatch Operative you will be working with the Team Leader to get goods ready to send out to their clients. You will eventually be trained in all areas of this small production unit but your main focus will be on Despatch and goods out. You will need to have a current Counter Balance forklift license and good IT skills in order to use their MRP system. The working environment can be noisy due to the machinery within the production unit. You will need excellent concentration and attention to detail. Previous experience within a despatch environment will be a distinct advantage. Working hours are Monday to Thursday 8.30-5pm and a 4pm finish on Fridays. This is a permanent role, starting on a 6 month temporary basis. Pay starts at £9.00/hr increasing to £9.50/hr with time and depending on experience.
