Overview

We are currently recruiting for our major client who is seeking an Inventory Analyst to work in Haydock. Working hours are Monday to Friday 8am till 4pm. Pay rate for this position is £10.60 The Inventory Analyst plays a critical role ensuring the accuracy and quality of stockpile. Working closely with the Warehouse Team and Full Service Inventory Team to ensure inventory accuracy both physical and on WMI system allowing effective utilisation of warehouse capacity, ensuring that Client expectations are met. Duties: • Effective control and management of the Batch Release process, ensuring inventory is locked and released as per Client’s instructions • Effective management of Client’s inventory which includes status changes for damage or obsolete items • Working pro-actively with the Client and the related Account Manager to ensure correct disposal of Client product as efficiently as possible • Address all inventory related enquiries/queries and support with Goods In and Returns, providing optimum solution as quickly and efficiently as possible • Run a variety of reports to use as an effective business tool to assist in effective management of the above tasks, working continually and closely with the Warehouse Teams to continually drive effective inventory management • Co-ordinating a team of Inventory Controllers to ensure completion of PI and quality checks to support and maintain the integrity of the stockpile and reach KPI targets You have: • The ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines • The ability to work within a team and individually • High level of computer literacy with emphasis on Microsoft office • Excellent organisational skills • High attention to detail • Ability to follow and provide clear instructions Desirable: • Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems • Previous experience working in stock/inventory control REQUIRED: High attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, high level of computer literacy with emphasis on Microsoft offce. DESIRABLE: Experience working with WMS, previous experience working in stock/inventory control
