Production Manager

Our Client: With a turnover in excess of £1bn and 1200 staff globally they are one of the market leaders in their industry sector and as such are sole suppliers to major names in the food ingredients industry, supplying global clients. Role: The business is having continued success across the world having doubled in sizer over the past 7 years and is now looking to recruit a Production Manager. The successful candidate will be focused on working with the site manager to ensure that the site is optimising operations and meeting customer requirements through the most effective means. You will be: · In charge of operators on a 6-shift pattern · In charge of the daily operation of the plant · Conduct daily meetings focusing on: production, Health and Safety, KPI’s, Utilities and Quality etc. · Health and Safety aware · Competent in the use of MS office and ERP system · A leader with strong people management and communication skills What we are looking for: · The ideal candidate will be a working as a Production or Quality manager for a production manufacturing site ideally in the food or ingredients sector · The ideal candidate will either be degree level or third level qualification in engineering, manufacturing within a relevant industry or time served · Experience of managing stakeholder expectations, especially liaising with customers in respect of manufacturing processes such as specifications, quality, process audits and site visits · Someone who has played a leading role in developing Continuous Improvement in an organisation
