Permit Officer

My client is a large fibre optic network provider in central London, with a huge vision to improve the quality of connectivity within the Capital. They are a next generation service provider, improving the connectivity for businesses with their super-fast fibre to the premises upgrades. They offer affordable, high quality connections to the businesses who consider themselves the inner workings of the UK economy. They are currently looking for a Permit Officer to work in their civil engineering delivery team. As a young modern Telecoms company that are offering a fully fibre network across London they are in high demand. To maintain the demand, they need to grow their team rapidly and implement a large network across London. To do this they need to add an internal Permit Office to look after their relationship with the London Boroughs and TFL. You will be responsible for ensuring all works are compliant with LoPS and ensuring works can be done within schedule. Responsibilities: ·Ensuring Notices / Permits are compliant with regulations ·Submit Notices / Permits to Boroughs & liaise with Boroughs to ensure they are passed ·Submit Parking Bay & Bus Stop suspensions ·Raise any issues with senior management ·Promote coordination across teams within the company · Update and maintain schemes permit log Requirements: ·Good written and verbal skills ·MS Office experience (Word & Excel) ·Self-motivated ·Ability to organise and prioritise work when needed ·Proactive approach to work If you have any questions then please call CWU By applying for this position, you are agreeing for Carrington West to hold and process your personal data in accordance to our Data Protection Policy.
