Our client own and operate state of the art food production, packing and distribution factories throughout Scotland proudly manufacturing recognisable or household brands and are currently looking to appoint 3 multi skilled (electrically bias) maintenance engineers in 2 of their Ayrshire factories. The details are: Seeking to appoint 3 time served multi skilled engineers who will take a proactive approach in ensuring the companies electrical and mechanical maintenance requirements are met for their food production and packing machinery and equipment in a ‘clean room’ environment. To be considered for this position you will have the ability to react promptly and efficiently to breakdown requirements as and when required and have considerable experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing/factory environment. Key activities Perform all electrical and mechanical maintenance activities as required. To assist mechanical and electrical engineering personnel within your abilities and where safe to do so. Participate in all planned, preventative and predictive activities as required. Fully support the maintenance team in providing a first-class service to the company Log all job data promptly onto the company maintenance system for history and KPI monitoring Ensure health and safety standards are fully met and maintained. Qualifications and experience Time served electrician (17 th or 18 th edition) HNC in Electrical engineering Significant experience of working in a planned maintenance capacity in a factory environment. Excellent technical skills in fault finding, configuring and maintenance of factory machinery Excellent time management and communication skills Organised, logical methodical approach to the planning and execution of tasks Present a ‘can do’ attitude at all times.
