Maintenance Electrician

Maintenance Electrician role with a large manufacturer at the Lancaster site. Your new company They are a well established company and their site runs 24 hours a day 365 days of the year. They have a number of sites in the UK and have branched into Europe. They provide a range of products and services and are a market leader in their industry. Your new role You will be carrying out routine, planned and preventative maintenance on site and be tasked with fault finding and fixing the electrical equipment. You must also be able to respond to emergency breakdowns and on call duties as well as carrying out improvements and installations as required. You will also have to work to the company policy in terms of health and safety and be able to work effectively as part of a skilled maintenance team whilst disposing waste correctly. You will also have to go on call at times and undertake maintenance spares stock takes. What you'll need to succeed You should be a time served electrician / maintenance electrician capable of fault finding, responding to emergency breakdowns and you will need to be able to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team. Some basic PLC programming and/or inverter programming skills would be an advantage. The willingness to work on-call is also essential. You will need to be local due the call out requirements. What you'll get in return You will receive a salary up to £34,373 DOE and 33 days annual leave including bank holidays. You will be working 8:00am - 4:30pm Monday - Friday. You will also be on call on a 3 week rota with lieu day scheme. You will be enrolled into the companies pension scheme and receive in house training.
