The Opportunity: We are looking for a Procurement Analyst to join our team on a 12 month FTC; this is your chance to create your career in an exciting environment where anything is possible. As a Procurement Analyst for QBE you will work in the Procurement Services & Operations team on the delivery of key objectives relating the operation of the Purchase to Pay (P2P) process, the management of Visa payment processes such as purchasing and virtual credit cards and the provision of ad hoc support to the Procurement function. Your responsibilities for this role may include, but are not limited to: Support the EO Procurement Services & Operations Manager in the delivery of key objectives relating the operation of the P2P process, the management of Visa payment processes such as purchasing and virtual credit cards and the provision of ad hoc support to the Procurement function including corporate travel. Maintain compliant and up-to-date procedures, practices, controls and documentation that support the procurement Services & Operations team. Support business users with queries relating to the P2P system and processes Train business users and our suppliers on system updates, process changes and new initiatives Work with offshore P2P team to deliver the P2P process and provide an escalation point for queries and Purchase Order authorisations Work with Finance and other teams involved to ensure prompt payment of our suppliers for goods and services received Work with IT to maintain and enhance our Procurement systems Collaborate with all stakeholders to identify areas for process improvement, automation and customer-specific solutions Ad hoc reporting Support and involvement in Procurement related projects as required You will need to be able to display you have the following knowledge, skills and experience: Experience within a relevant field e.g. Procurement, Business Support or Operations Ability to build professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels Ability to work in a team environment but also to effectively prioritise and manage own workload Experience in a business facing or user support role Knowledge of procurement process, systems and tools Knowledge of Oracle Fusion, would be beneficial but not essential. Proficient user of MS Office Suite High quality accuracy and attention to detail Strong planning and organisation skills At QBE, we view our people as our most precious asset.
