Overview

On behalf of a really long standing business I am recruiting for a Permanent Sales Ledger Clerk to join their expanding finance team. Client Details My client has been going for over 60 years and have acquired a number of businesses in the last 10 years which has grown the finance team. They are currently going through a system implementation which should hopefully not impact this role too much. They have a relaxed working environment where everyone works together to get the job done. Description To be considered for this permanent Sales Ledger Clerk role you will get exposure to the following: Producing sales application and invoices accurately and in timely manner Setting up new clients Posting daily receipts Banking Chasing up outstanding debts effectively Posting journals Recording credit card transactions Provide support in other areas of the accounts department as and when required Assisting with the Purchase Ledger if needed Profile To be considered for this permanent role you must posses the following: Good working knowledge of excel including pivot table and vlookups Basic understanding of double entry Construction experience including VAT in construction Establishing good relation and communications with all members of staff and responding politely in timely fashion both to internal and external customers A good eye for detail Reliable and conscientious Job Offer Excellent salary and benefits package.
