Based in Bristol the Senior Hardware Applications Engineer will be focused on the development of High Speed Optical Communication Technologies, this exciting opportunity offers the Senior Hardware Design Engineer the chance to progress their career with an innovative company that offers excellent career and technical development to their employees. The responsibilities are varied, interesting and challenging, so the ideal candidate will have a passion for technology and developing / creating solutions. The successful candidate will have a good relevant degree along with experience in some of the following areas (it is not expected that you would have all): • FPGA Design • High Speed Digital Design I2C/SPI/USB/Ethernet • Signal Integrity • Schematic entry / PCB Design • High Speed Analogue Design Other areas of interest for this position include industry knowledge of either: Semiconductors, Optoelectronics, Transceivers or Test / Measurement.
