Overview

An experienced Product Developer is requires, you will have knowledge of either Luxury/Premium market, or Performance & Sportwear. Within this role you will work from the design stage following the garment through to production handover. Knowledge of men's and womenswear fit would be ideal. You will be an excellent communicator with the ability to facilitate problem solving and addressing issues whilst working to deadlines. You will work closely with the Head of Design and Creative Director aswell as the design team to produce: Clear product specifications from illustrations. Critical path management Ensuring factory sample production to size sets are correct Sourcing fabrics/trims/ and ensuring accurate labelling. Management of for fit and suitability with design/client team. Cost Price negotiation Managing quantities and lead times with global factories and suppliers Informing the team of any QC issues Managing all fabric testing Introduce and present new products. Culture and team fit are crucial to this role, you need to be fun friendly and have a real love for developing product and design. A minimum of 3 years within a similar role is required. Ideally this client is looking to initially freelance this role with a view to taking the candidate on permanently.
