Overview
Jark(Wakefield) require time served Plater/Welders The role will involve working in a busy environment producing a variety of components and structures for a variety of specialist sectors Duties - Plating Fabricating Reading technical drawings Working within a team . Assisting other team members to ensure the work allocated is produced effectively . Inspection of own work to ensure it meets quality standards . Work in a safe manner, in compliance with company procedures Use of General workshop equipment associated with this role to include, o Hydraulic press o Saw o Oxy-Propane equipment o Folders o Rolls - powered and manual o Various hand-held power tools What we are looking for- Apprentice trained/time served Plater with a minimum of 3 yrs experience . Able to MIG/MAG weld and read CAD drawings Use of Counterbalance Fork Lift Truck Use of overhead gantry cranes Sufficient knowledge & use of mathematics / calculations to undertake required duties Ability to read and understand technical engineering drawings for fabrication .
