Manufacturing Accountant

JHE & Partners are working exclusively with a superb company in Halifax as they look to recruit a Manufacturing Accountant. The successful candidate will have recent experience within a manufacturing environment and be confident when overseeing, reporting and analysing stock flow. This role will support the Finance Manager in analysing Cost of Sales, whilst ensuring product margins are maintained in line with expectations. Key duties will include: Responsible for all inventory control accounts on the balance sheet, highlighting any risks Develop and implement periodic stock forecasting and reporting package for the business Review product and customer profitability margins against budget and forecast, delivering reports on variance analysis Monitoring, analysing and reporting on raw material price impacts and cost changes Liaise closely with Production and Sales teams to control costs and manage customer and product margins Manage internal stock-take process alongside production Challenging stock reports and authorising potential write-offs and disposals Review, develop and implement new costing and stock process controls to improve accuracy Offering a competitive salary, excellent benefits and a friendly working environment, I would urge anyone interested to apply as soon as possible to avoid missing out on this great opportunity.
