We have an exciting opportunity to support individuals with Learning and/or Physical Disabilities. Some of these individuals may have limited verbal communication and use vocalisation gestures. The support we provide could also involve practical support with the person`s daily life, personal care or helping to promote a positive, active and healthy lifestyle. We are looking for individuals who are resilient, adaptable to change and believes in placing the care of others at the centre of everything they do. Each person we support is unique so each support role will be different to the next, giving you the chance to really make a difference in that individuals life. A full training program is offered to everyone who joins The Richmond Fellowship Scotland, so even if this is a new career path for you, we would love to meet you. No experience required. What matters most is that you have the right values and the right attitude. Closing date: 06 April 2020. PVG checks will be required of all successful applicants; having a conviction will not necessarily debar you from working in this sector. It would be desirable that you have a driving license and use of car, but this is not essential.
