Overview
ENS Recruitment is assisting an independent fostering agency with the recruitment of a Social Worker who has experience in working with foster carers and vulnerable children. If you are a Social Worker with a few years’ experience under your belt and you’ve either been involved with adoption, fostering services or children’s safeguarding then please read further You would be very passionate about providing high quality service to children and their families, you would be self-motivated with good organisational skills. We are looking for candidates who reside in the Essex area to cover the county, this can be in either Braintree, Southend or Haverhill areas (or anywhere up to Cambridgeshire). The salary range offered for the Social Worker is £25,000 to £38,000 per annum. Main responsibilities & requirements: Having a small case load of foster carers (up to 15 at a time) Assisting with the training and recruitment process of potential foster families Carrying out audits Monitoring and working in line with safeguarding requirements You will be a driver with access to your own vehicle You will have a flexible attitude towards the working hours The Social Worker will be working Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:30, however, due to the nature of the role you would be expected to be on call 3 to 4 times a year.
