Overview

SOFTWARE ASSET MANAGER - SAM / SNOW SOFTWARE ASSET MANAGEMENT / SLM / ELP / LICENCE AND CONFIG MANAGEMENT - Nationwide / Remote / Home-Working - Are you aSoftware Asset Manager with good SNOW asset management system knowledge and the ability to develop client relationships to assist in driving Services Sales in addition to their project roles. Good project management skills are advantageous with the ability to assist in delivering successful projects, either by a team or on their own. A Consultant may be required to engage with several project teams simultaneously and to apply their knowledge and expertise to clients with similar requirements. You will need to communicate project requirements to members of your team and prepare progress reports for clients and for other Consultants within the company. For this role, we need strong IT Asset Management background specifically Software but also including Licensing and Asset and Configuration Management, Hardware, Knowledge of and experience using the SNOW asset management system, Experience in managing projects using recognised methodologies, Strong commitment to and understanding of, customer-managed services, Knowledge and experience of Using Microsoft products Excel, Word, Visio and Evaluating Effective License Positions (ELPs). For this role, you will need to understand your clients' requirements and to develop effective solutions, alongside being able to make the best use of the entire company's knowledge base and resources. You will work with Change Management, Incident Management, Problem Management, Network Management, Release Management, Environment Management, Computer Operations, Server & Application Support, Commercial, Finance and Procurement functions. It is important to understand that this role works with the client data and will be in an invaluable position to help identify risks and opportunities within the estate. The role will work closely with the rest of the team, helping deliver the service to the client. Any licensing skills would be advantageous.
