Overview
The purpose of the L&D Coordinator is to ensure the smooth running of all learning and development activities by providing an efficient, effective and excellent support service. You will work with the Head of L&D and other key stakeholders to understand the key priorities and activities needed to support the wider team achieve our goals and objectives. The L&D Coordinator is responsible for scheduling an appropriate number of courses to meet the needs of our customers, this will require a collaborative approach with various teams including; Apprenticeship Team, Consultant Development Team and Management Development Team. As the ‘face’ of Learning and Development Team, the L&D Coordinator will be focused on delighting our customers with exceptional service and a proactive approach. Ensuring that any challenges are overcome and processes are adapted to meet the needs of the business, the team and our Co-Members. It is expected that the L&D Coordinator will produce weekly/periodic management information reports to support the Head of L&D in communicating this information to the L&D team, HR teams and wider business. These reports play a pivotal role in how the available resources are managed to achieve optimal productivity and deliver a world-class service to all Co-Members. In order to continuously improve the quality of our training programmes the L&D Coordinator is accountable for locating and evaluating the appropriateness of potential training venues to ensure that they meet the requirements of the individual training courses. Working closely with the L&D team the L&D Coordinator is also responsible for the development and design of high quality training material. The L&D Coordinator is to take personal responsibility for effectively managing their own workload to ensure the delivery of a world-class training and coordination service to all Co-Members.
