QA Tester

Waracle is looking for an experienced mobile software tester to be part of our team in Dundee or Glasgow. You’ll be working with a team of highly skilled coders on a range of projects. Do you have experience of testing mobile and web based applications? Do you enjoy breaking software in a creative way and enjoy working in a dynamic and multi-project environment? This role is a permanent post and offers remote working. Working with a fine eye for detail, our Quality Assurance Team have a passion for software quality from the requirements gathering stage, through to delivery and beyond. Working with clients, you will take part in gathering their requirements, and possess the ability to understand the client’s goals and needs to ensure that the software delivers on the Client’s requirements. Having a perspective on software quality beyond functionality, taking into account the end-user experience to help protect the Client within a regulated industry. You will have solid experience of working closely with a team of developers to deliver high quality mobile and web applications. Requirements SKILLS REQUIRED Experience of working as part of an Agile Team. Experience of testing Mobile and Web applications. Experience of writing Test Cases to cover Requirements and Acceptance Criteria. Ability to keep track of testing deadlines across projects to ensure on-time, quality delivery. Communication: Enthusiast, advocate, patient, collaborator, influencer, nurturer. Experience of Exploratory Testing. Desirable skills but not essential: Experience of using Jira Some level of UI Automation experience (XCTest for iOS and Espresso for Android) OUR TEAM Waracle is an unconventional company – we like to think out of the box and we want staff who do too.
