Backend Developer - London paying up to £60k One of London's most exciting start-ups are looking for a Backend Developer to join their team. They have huge growth plans and are looking for a developer to join and help facilitate the growth from a technological perspective. My client has revolutionised the way that companies schedule with their innovative and powerful software. Last year they helped some of the UK's biggest companies reduce their business costs by using personalised algorithms and machine learning. They are firm believers in using the right tech where necessary so they are always open to trying new ideas. Thus they encourage their developers to learn new things and support them anyway they can. The role: Your day-to-day will be focused on algorithmic improvements, multi-threading, and performance optimisation's. You will work on algorithms to optimise staff scheduling and you'll think about how their existing algorithms can be generalised to new domains. Key Skills: At least two years of development experience Experience using object oriented language (e.g. C++, C#, etc). Experience with database language (e.g. SQL). Demonstrated problem solving capabilities.
