Bank yourself a new role Are you looking for a Pharmacist role where you can develop your skills in an environment where no two days are the same? Here at Care UK, we have over 40 prison sites, putting us in the enviable position where over 20 per cent of the UK population has access to one of our facilities. Are you an individual who would thrive on working at the forefront of innovative prison primary care and substance misuse treatment? Then look no further What will you be doing? You will be responsible for providing a specialist clinical pharmacy service to the prison, ensuring high quality, safe, effective, legal and accurate use of medicines; covering the other pharmacists when they're off-site. You will also have key responsibility of supporting and supervising the pharmacy technicians also working at HMP Channing's Wood. The main focus of the work will be to provide a dispensary and wing based clinical pharmacy service and work with the Principal Pharmacist on providing medicines management support to a number of different wings. The ability to work in a highly stressful and pressurized environment is key. What we need from you? You will be a qualified Registered Pharmacist- BSc or Master’s Degree in Pharmacy, holding registration with the general Pharmaceutical Council. Utilising your existing pharmacy experience gained in community, hospitals or custodial environments. You’ll have a flexible approach working within a team that encourages new ideas. If you are self-motivated and able to work autonomously as well as showing plenty of initiative when it comes to handling a wide range of situations, then this could be the right role for you More information This is a permanent role, working 28.5 hours per week. The rate of pay is up to £45,000 DOE per annum.
