Overview

Reading town centre - no parking available Our clients busy finance team handle all client and office payments as well as management reporting in a busy law firm. They are now seeking an experienced Billings Administrator to support their team. Your role: Assist to deliver a smooth and timely operation of billing process within departments Creating, processing, amending and dispatching system generated bills in line with firm policy Reviewing draft bills and liaising with the fee earners on any changes required Assisting Partners and Fee Earners with preparing their bills by producing timely and accurate WIP reports; identifying matters to be billed and creating proformas Monitor receipt of monies from clients in payment of bills Process write offs, transfers and any other requests in relation to WIP and bills. Provide cover in the absence of other Legal Billing Assistants and Revenue Controllers The person: Previous experience of working within a law firm would be beneficial. Previous billing experience would be beneficial. Experience of working with Elite 3E would be advantageous. Good IT skills, in particular Microsoft Office Skills Well organised with methodical approach and ability to prioritise Good communication skills Reliable and adaptable team player with the ability to work well under pressure Professional and confident on the telephone Self-motivated and proactive with a 'can do' attitude Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Highly numerate Good commercial awareness GCSEs or equivalent to include English and Maths as a minimum
