Overview
Technical Author, Banking, IT Software Development, Application & System Development, London. An excellent opportunity for an experienced Technical Author to break into the banking sector to join a London based bank that is experiencing a period of organic growth. An exciting time to join the bank who have recently relocated into brand new offices and are very much on the front foot with a large project book, The Role: As an experienced Technical Author, you will join and work alongside the current Technical Author based directly in the bank's dedicated IT Application & Systems Development team. This team is responsible for all IT Development that spans across Front, Middle and Back Office business areas. You will be responsible for writing and maintaining technical, support and user documentation for new and existing software applications along with the provision of online help and content management IT Intranet pages. Key Skills: • Experienced Technical Author with corporate background experience • Experience in producing and maintaining technical and end-user IT Software Application documentation • Experience of document management and version control • Excellent communication skills and ability to operate and face off to a variety of stakeholders & departments • Good problem solver and methodical approach with good attention to detail This is an excellent & exciting time to join this bank, the development team has over the last 18 months almost doubled in size due to new IT initiatives.
