Overview
About the Role The CASS & Reconciliations Team is responsible for a range of reconciliation, reporting and control processes designed to maintain CBAM’s compliance with the requirements of the FCA’s client assets and transaction reporting rule books. Key Responsibilities General Perform the administration of CASS related activities including account reconciliation and processing of cash movements. Complete the corporate action process including event sourcing, validation, coordinating internal & client communications, decision capture and notification. Monitor cash reconciliation breaks through to resolution. Undertake the daily client money daily calculation related monitoring. Undertake FCA transaction reporting. Assist with maintaining an up-to-date procedures manual. Inform line manager of areas of concern and issues that may arise. Participate in the Appraisal and Development Scheme. Demonstrate the Firm’s Business Principles (Client, Excellence, People & Integrity). Regulatory Responsibilities (Compliance/T&C) Demonstrate an understanding of and compliance with regulatory framework relevant to the role, whilst practising effective risk management taking account of outcomes for clients. About you Qualifications, Skills and Attributes Keen attention to detail (both on and off system). Ability to work quickly and accurately within very tight deadlines. Good team player with the ability to work on own initiative. Flexibility and availability to work overtime during peak workload periods. An understanding of FCACASS rules relating to holding client money and safe custody assets would be an advantage. Good knowledge of Excel.
