Overview
SF Recruitment are currently working with a market leading business in Nottingham who are looking to recruit a Financial Accountant to join the business. The main purpose of the role will be to provide financial reporting and related assistance to the Senior Financial Accountant, and wider Finance Team. Key Responsibilities: - Invoice review and coding for Purchase Ledger, and assisting Purchase Ledger with invoice coding queries - Co-administrator/authorisation for company banking - Preparation of weekly dashboard KPIs - Monthly balance sheet reviews and reconciliations, including taxes - Monthly VAT payments on account to HMRC - Quarterly reconciliation and completion of VAT Return - Monthly PAYE reconciliations and payments to HMRC - Corporation tax quarterly payments and assistance with preparation of tax packs - Assistance with the interim and year end statutory accounts - Assisting with the external audit process - Completion and submission of National Statistic forms and dealing with queries - Assisting the Senior Financial Accountant, Finance Director and wider business with other queries, reporting, ad-hoc tasks and projects as required You will be a Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent), with previous experience of working in a financial accounting environment in industry with strong technical ability. You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work with internal and external customers, with the ability to build rapport across the business.
