SQL DBA Developer £50,000 to £60,000 PA Glasgow Your new company You will be joining this exciting and very well established company in Glasgow who have experienced unprecedented growth in recent years and have an exciting job opportunity for a Production SQL DBA Developer to join their team. Your new role You will be providing 3rd line database performance tuning, maintenance and support services and assist with database design, development and security You will assist in the investigation and modelling of business functions, processes, information flows and data structures, using methodical and consistent techniques; investigate operational requirements and problems, contributing to improvements; specify information flows, processes/procedures that will meet the business requirements; The role will also give you the opportunity to assist and design future IT systems and services, plan for integration and efficiency of services and communicate and collaborate with stakeholders What you'll need to succeed It is essential that you have proven experience working as a production DBA in a SQL environment You will have strong skills in SQL database and proactive monitoring techniques, and you will have delivered business benefit from consolidated reporting infrastructure and utilised best practice methodologies to identify, influence, deliver and embed change and operational improvements. With a strong interest and knowledge towards industry trends you will be a strong influencer with the ability to communicate technical discussions to key stakeholders. Ideally you will have had formal training or relevant experience in recognised methodologies that deliver business information via structured tools and solutions and awareness of industry standards and technologies to include ERP systems. MS SQL, TSQL, SSIS, SSRS, Microsoft Stack Security & POSH.
