Javascript Developer / Front End Developer Manchester (City Centre) £40,000 PA We are working with an established business in central Manchester, working as Javascript Developer / Front End Developer on project work for the travel and tourism industry. Job Role Front End Developer / Javascript Developer: Plan and lead projects Maintain and develop system applications and APIs. Deliver high-quality solutions that provide an intuitive workflow for staff and external users. Collaborate on application architecture, design and UX to develop solutions that are usable, accessible and make a strong visual impact. Advocate well tested and documented, high-quality code and help develop the business’ standard and conventions. Take responsibility for the development and timely delivery of user-facing solutions with a focus on a high-quality user journey. Be involved in all aspects of project delivery from concept and design through to release and maintenance. As Front End Developer, you will need: Extensive knowledge and experience of delivery and development leveraging React, JavaScript (ES6), HTML and CSS Javascript developer experience Experience using Git as a version control system Strong knowledge of web performance optimisation and refactoring Experience working with API developed by backend teams. Experience writing clear specifications from gathered requirements and breaking down projects into simple tasks that can be delegated to keep all business priorities moving forwards. Front End Developer Salary & Benefits: £40K (depending on experience) Hours: 40. Full-time role, with six weeks annual leave inclusive of bank holidays ?
