Senior Juniper Network Engineer exciting SAAS software company MY client is a cutting edge SAAS platform company, who are aggressively growing and due to high demand doe its products recruit another Senior / Network Engineer with strong junioper skills either JNCIS/JNCIP/JNCIE . My client data centre and new network operations centre is based in Bedford. This is a permanent role with a company who really offer career growth a chance to really learn and grow, and work with some really cool and interesting projects with the MOD, MOJ, police force, NHS as well as enterprise companies. As the Senior Juniper Network Engineer (Juniper) ideally it is required that you are a certified JUNIPER Engineer with all or one of JNCIS /JNCIP/JNCIE The Main purposes of this position To further develop and maintain functional and secure networks. That must be designed to the best of breed/ practice networking solutions in internal and cloud based environments and VOIP Providing troubleshooting services and mentoring to other team members in networking and Juniper based products Ensure the network is secure, resilient and reliable to achieve my clients high customer SLA's and expectation on mission critical projects and services Provide out of hours escalation support Knowledge/Experience: Required JNCIS/JNCIP/JNCIE certified. Knowledge of configuring Layer 2 protocols, STP, QinQ, VPLS Knowledge of configuring Layer 3 protocols, BGP, OSPF, VRRP Strong customer service focus Debugging network issues using industry standard tools such as Wireshark Experience of Linux, VMWare, DNS, Standard Microsoft Technologies (AD, Exchange etc.) an advantage Knowledge of automation solutions automation / Scripting would be desirable. Ability to create detailed documentation of solutions.
