Contract Mechanical Design Engineer Inside IR35 role Duration 6 month rolling contract Rate £28.00-£32.00 Umbrella company rate We are currently recruiting for Contract Mechanical Design Engineer to join a company with a secure and stable order book. The appointed Contract Mechanical Design Engineer will carry out the following duties. Supporting Program Design focused on structures Trim finish designs Preparation of concept design Preliminary designs by using Catia V5 and Enovia 3D Experience Development and optimizing concept designs for next generation of products for aircraft. Installation of electrical equipment and routing of wire bundles. The appointed Contract Mechanical Design Engineer will need to meet the following key requirements for the role. HND, HNC in engineering or equivalent experience in aircraft and/or aircraft systems design. Awareness of EASA and FAA airworthiness requirements.
