My client is a global leader of complex capital equipment in the Electronics Industry. They have a market reputation of that crucial combination of high-quality products along with superb after care and service. They are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their site in Surrey to fulfil the following responsibilities – • Design and development of real time PC based software mostly in C++ • Documentation of design specifications and implementation details • Creation of test specifications and procedures • Coach and mentor junior engineers in your department • Keep up to date with the latest technologies To be considered for the Senior Software Engineer role the candidate must present evidence of the following – • Proven knowledge and track record of embedded C and C++ • •Working knowledge of Delphi for GUI development • A track record of application debugging and troubleshooting of a PC based target • Track record of implementing image processing techniques • Working knowledge of using USB, Ethernet and other synchronous and asynchronous communication protocols • Proven documentation skills and analytical problem-solving ability • Ability to travel where required to customers globally • Track record of working in an IAR Development Environment • TCP/IP Stack and Windows 10 IOT • Knowledge of UML notation, methods and tools or other methods • Proven knowledge of the full development cycle This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89637132
