Overview
Overview Following on from the award of Bridging Solution Contract to Amey the incumbent Civil Servant has resigned. A capability gap now exists, risking the delivery of effective mobilisation and subsequent Contract management. Main Duties and Responsibilities: Working within a commercial team to deliver programme objectives; Supporting colleagues to achieve targets in relevant timescales; Developing successful working relationships with external suppliers. Contributing to procurement and contract strategies; Compiling and issuing tenders; Administering contract amendments; Providing commercial advice and guidance to the wider business; Ensuring all procurement activities are within budget; Ensuring all activity undertaken is in line with government regulations and best practice. The employee is required owing to an increase in Customer demand arising from an increase in operational capability. Current staff complement is insufficient to meet demand. The individual will ensure that the procurement processes necessary to manage these contracts will be undertaken. Experience Sourcing Contract Management Framework knowledge Category management (HFM/SFM/PFI etc) Inside IR35 - Please note that the client has determined that the off-payroll working rules will apply to this assignment and where a worker elects to provide their services through an intermediary (such as a personal services company) then income tax and primary national insurance contributions will be deducted at source from any payments made to the intermediary.
