Overview

Windows Infrastructure Engineer - Hyper-V Clusters / Azure - North London Avanti Recruitment is working with a leading retail company in North London to recruit an IT Systems Engineer to join their Infrastructure team. You will work on the continuous improvement and administration of their IT infrastructure which supports their production and live environment for their web based applications. Working primarily in Microsoft technologies you will have the opportunity to build your knowledge and experience of both virtual datacentre technologies and Cloud based applications with Azure. We are looking for someone with at least 5 years infrastructure experience installing, configuring, administering and performance tuning a broad range of Server and Networking technologies, Applications and Backup products. We are looking for someone with proven experience configuring and administering most of the following: Windows Server Active Directory (On-premise and Azure based) Hyper-V Clusters (deploying new VMs and Cluster aware updates) Networking - VLANS, DHCP / DNS Powershell Scripting for automating processes MS Azure - deploying and managing resources (ideally some of the following Azure Networking, performance monitoring Azure Metrics, Service Fabric Clusters, Docker Containers etc).
