What would I be doing: The Wi-Fi Network team is responsible for defining, designing, delivering, deploying and supporting high performance, scalable and resilient Wi-Fi platforms in our UK and International Customer Fulfilment Warehouses. Over the coming years we will focus on the design and implementation of new warehouse networks, automating worldwide deployments, and putting in place DevOps practices to facilitate the creation of over 20 new international warehouses. We are looking for enthusiastic Wifi Network Engineers who know their craft, can learn fast and who are natural collaborators. In return you will be given the autonomy to make a real difference within this key infrastructure team. Our technology stack includes Aruba OS, Aruba ClearPass, Aruba (Virtual) Mobility Controllers, Aruba Airwave, Ekahau ESS, Juniper, LibreNMS, Python, Radius, Docker, Wireshark, Omnipeek and Metageek Chanalyzer. We expect applicants to demonstrate some, but not all of these. What we are looking for Solid experience in designing, building and supporting Enterprise WiFi networks using Aruba, or similar, products - e.g. Aruba OS, Aruba ClearPass, Aruba (Virtual) Mobility Controllers, Aruba Airwave, Strong collaboration both within the team and across other infrastructure and development teams Comfortable adapting to change and learning quickly in a fast-paced environment Educated to degree level, or with significant industry experience. Bonus points if you have: Experience of designing and operating an enterprise Wifi network within a manufacturing or warehouse setting. Experience using enterprise Wifi design/planning software like Ekahau ESS. Experience setting up active monitoring and alerting systems with tools like LibreNMS, Aruba Airwave. Spectrum, protocol and packet analysis tools (e.g. Omnipeek and Metageek Chanalizer). Aruba Clearpass authentication or similar radius solutions. Kudos for programming skills (Python/C++/similar), but it's not essential. Working with Scrum, Kanban or other Lean Agile methodologies An appreciation for DevOps methods (communication, collaboration, integration and automation) Bonus points for wired networking experience with Juniper/Cisco - we collaborate regularly with wired network colleagues.
