Product Manager Acquiring & Reconciliation

Summary of the role: Amadeus is the only payment provider 100% dedicated to making money flow in travel. We process in excess of €100 billion in payments for over 1,000 airlines, travel agencies and hotel customers. You will play a vital part in putting together best practice for the strategy and implementation of our acquiring product in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to maximize the value of our offering. You will optimize our existing acquiring integration and to concentrate on building strategic partnerships with acquirers. You will draw upon your wealth of experience to set the vision for the product and be instrumental to the successful delivery of this vision. You will act as the acquiring expert within payments at Amadeus, providing your expertise to sales and commercial teams as well as to maintain an excellent knowledge of the merchant acquiring business. This role can be based in London or Madrid. In this role you’ll: Define the acquiring product strategy roadmap in conjunction with other business units Manage the end to end process to collect acquiring business requirements – dealing with different stakeholders Define value proposition including pricing and commercial terms Align with the rest of merchant gateway related services, coordinating joint efforts, value propositions and dependencies on product evolution developments Create business cases for new product developments / enhancements About the ideal candidate: You’ll be an expert in the field of payments in an acquirer related role You’ll have in-depth knowledge of card payment processing products and services gained through prior experience in a merchant or acquirer You’ll be able to explain complex issues simply and to influence senior stakeholders You’ll have a track record in launching successful acquiring products in international markets You’ll be able to demonstrate the ability to deliver innovative products and services What we can offer you: Extensive range of benefits including an opportunity to work flexibly, 28 days holiday, target 20% bonus, car allowance, pension, healthcare, wellbeing programmes and discount schemes.
