Laboratory Assistant

We are looking for Full Time Laboratory Assistants to support our team of Technicians in the day to day running of the business. Skills and qualities: An interest in science or experience in a catering industry would be an advantage. A successful candidate must be self-motivated, flexible, willing to work hard and a good team player. A mature outlook and attitude is necessary. You will need to be neat, accurate and methodical, and able to perform well under pressure. Job description: A general description of duties will include cleaning and tidying the lab, preparing material for testing, lab stock up and assisting technicians in daily tasks. Start date: ASAP Salary: £7.70/h for under 25's and £8.21/h for over 25's. Overtime paid at enhanced rates. Hours: 80 hours over two weeks (between the hours of 12:00 - 20:30 on weekdays), including weekends (between the hours of 09:30 - 18:00).
