Job Title: Clinical Care Assessor Trainee or Qualified Assessor Opportunity Location: Salisbury and surrounding areas - Candidates must be flexible with travel Salary: £23,000 - £28,000 (Salary dependent on qualifications and experience) Package: Excellent Holiday Entitlement, Pension, Mileage Much More Type: Full Time, Permanent We are delighted to offer this role as a Trainee or Qualified opportunity. Full training and support will be provided to Trainee applicants, to achieve an Assessor Award. Essential Criteria for all candidates: Must hold a recognised Clinical Care qualification or RGN status. Have solid occupational experience within Clinical Healthcare, as a clinical professional or Registered Nurse (Hospital / Clinical / Private Medical environments) Confident with Maths and English – (grades C or above – or Key/Functional Skills at level 2). Full, clean, UK driving licence and use of a vehicle. Must be flexible with travel. Duties: Assess and support learners through full Apprenticeship Standards in Clinical Care up to Level 5 (Healthcare Support Worker, Senior Healthcare Support Worker, and Assistant Practitioner). Provide additional support for the delivery of Functional Skills (Maths / English / ICT) up to Level 2. As part of the delivery, you will conduct group workshops, both face to face and online. Visiting/observing learners in their place of work to gather evidence towards their qualification. Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted. Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress. Support, advise and motivate learners, through to end point assessment. Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs. Meet Assessor KPI’s in terms of timely visits, quality paperwork and general administration. Desirable Criteria: Recognised Assessor Award (TAQA, CAVA, A1 or D32/33) Experience of delivering Apprenticeships in Clinical Healthcare, up to level 5. Personal Skills: Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively. Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
