Administrator £25,500 per annum Central London I have an exciting opportunity for a candidate to join a wonderful team of people based in a London University. You will be responsible for the administration and smooth running of all careers activities. Responsibilities: Communicating effectively and dealing effectively with a wide range of student enquiries Responsibility for all administrative work relating to student activity Keeping records of student attendance; managing the appointments system; introducing and maintaining scheme rotas to ensure that both student and external organisations' needs Distribution and collation of student and agency questionnaires Maintaining and promoting systems e.g. the careers database, legal employer information, vacancy database Ensuring data is accurately entered, statistics maintained for each service, extracting data and producing reports, and ensuring that deadlines are met Co-ordinating and administering Careers activities and assisting in providing centre support e.g. planning visits, assisting students with their preparation and presentations etc. Assisting with setting up and administering various events and functions e.g. preparing information packs, booking facilities, arranging refreshments etc. Attending functions when required, which may be held during the evening or at weekends. The ideal candidate will have worked in an administration role previously. You'll have a genuine interest in the higher education sector. You will be proactive, be able to manage your time effectively as well as being able to give fantastic customer service to the students.
