Overview
Management Accountant required for our client a leading University based in central Manchester. Your new company Our client is a world class University with offices and campuses based in central Manchester. The organisation is growing from strength to strength and due to commercial projects they are looking to grow their finance team. Your new role The Group Management Accountant will directly for the Head of Group Finance and have a responsibility for the preparation of the group finance pack which includes monthly management accounts production, consolidation accounts, budget and forecasting monthly, quarterly and annually. You will work closely with senior stakeholders in the organisation on their departmental budgets and assisting with costings of projects. You will be assisting the Head of Group Accounts with the preparation of all statutory accounts and liaise with auditors. Aside from your day to day role you will also be working on upcoming projects that the organisation have which you will be the financial support and actively be involved in financial modelling and due diligence. What you'll need to succeed You will be suitably qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA ideally newly qualified or finalist. Strong excel skills are essential as are the ability to produce monthly management accounts and statutory accounts. This is a progressive role working in an exciting growing organisation.
