Overview

A lovely role with a small to medium enterprise within Licensing and Product development. Responsibilities Ongoing collaboration, training, and communication with sales team on product developments which may have direct impact on their customers Responsible for day to day communication with both Far East, responding to e-mails daily, answering questions, organising information, artwork and ensuring they are fully briefed on a project from entire team Manage Development Timelines and the delivery of product to our warehouse in time for customer launches Analyse the market for New Product Development opportunities Work on sourcing the best costs with our Far East Suppliers and offer the best target costs to customers Manage vendor service level by obtaining and negotiating cost prices, MOQ's and lead-times Review design, quality and functionality of all new samples alongside the design team Work with the Designers to develop products, packaging and concept ideas Working and outsourcing Designs to freelancers Proactively manage the Designers schedule as well as outsourcing designs to ensure all customer requirements are met. Confidently make decisions to meet timelines and ensure products meet margin targets and is delivered on time Seeking approval and updating the Directors of all customer projects Critical Path Management - fully understanding timelines Maintaining Product Master Files to ensure all product and project information is up to date Managing factory audits required for certain licensors and customers Confident raising concerns and issues with a project and offering solutions where possible Ensure sample availability and mock ups for customers Ensuring the smooth delivery of stock by ensuring all Manufacturer Agreements, factory audits and trademark release letters are received from our licensors Communicating with licensors re Royalty payments, design approvals, keeping informed of retailer selections Approving invoices, checking payments and effectively work to keep costs low Managing and attending key customer meetings (Clintons) to present new ranges, offer ideas and solutions and ensure effective account management from the start Skills needed: Background in product development and licensing Can-do enthusiastic attitude Hard-working and motivated Taking a strong responsibility for all projects Willing to travel to trade shows and exhibitions where necessary Excellent communication skills The ability to multitask Strong Organisational skills Previous experience in industry is preferred Parkside Recruitment Ltd is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
