Overview

Stagecoach in Fenstanton is looking for a skilled vehicle body repairer/coach maker person to join our dedicated and friendly engineering team. This position is full time over Monday to Friday and will be located at our Fenstanton Depot. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring that all Company vehicles are maintained and repaired according to routine and planned service requirements. This will also include the effective and safe repair to damaged company vehicles including vehicle bodywork, framework, ramps, window, chassis, seating, doors and flooring etc. We can offer: 39-hour week 22 days’ holiday, plus Bank Holidays Competitive salary Duties and responsibilities: Vehicle body/chassis repairs, fabrication, preparation and painting Carrying out planned maintenance to body components To keep equipment and working area clean in accordance with health and safety requirements Training and Qualifications: On-going technical training will be given, but you must hold a recognised qualification in the field of body chassis repair or fabrication. The candidate must have a full UK driving licence and the ability to gain a PCV licence to enable them to move buses as required for the engineering team.
