Production Manager Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum plus excellent large company benefits Hours of work: Monday - Thursday, 8:00am - 5:00pm, Friday 8:00am - 2:00pm Location: Alfreton, Derbyshire Rischer and Butler Resource Solutions are recruiting on behalf of our reputable client for a Production Manager. Our client are a large international manufacturing business based in Alfreton, Derbyshire. The position is to manage and co-ordinate all production activities in accordance with standard operating procedures and the relevant safety regulations. Job role: Lead manage and co-ordinate all formulations and bottle filling activities. Ensure correct housekeeping and safety disciplines are maintained. Maximise production up time by correct use of the standard procedures. Participate in the development and training of all departmental staff. Maintain the drive for continuous improvement by exceeding KPI’s. Conduct the company EDR programme. With specialist advice implement and maintain health, safety and environmental systems within the department including MAPP (Major Accident Prevention Policy). Ensure that agreed production targets and schedules are met in areas of control. Maintain/develop internal customer/supplier relationships. Skills and experience required: A minimum of 3 years manufacturing experience. NEBOSH general certificate in Occupational Safety & Health OR IOSH Managing Safely certificate.
